Santa's Rockin' Band
03:23
|
|||
Let me tell you the true story of how rock n’ roll began
Way back in 1950 before it swept the land
It was Christmas Eve and all was still when I heard a faint sound
It came from way up north it was a band really gettin’ down
Rudolph was the drummer Santa clapped his hands
The elves sang loud while they played guitar it was a rockin’ Christmas band
Frosty was the bassman played so hot he melts his hands
Mrs. Claus on the tambourine they were Santa’s Rockin’ Band
Santa Claus decided it was time to spread some fun
So he hitched up all the reindeer for one more special run
He filled the stockings of Chuck and Buddy and little Elvis too
With rock n’ roll from the North Pole they’d know what to do
Rudolph was the drummer Santa clapped his hands
The elves sang loud while they played guitar it was a rockin’ Christmas band
Frosty was the bassman played so hot he melts his hands
Mrs. Claus on the tambourine they were Santa’s Rockin’ Band
Rock n’ roll may change but Santa’s band remains
And every Christmas Eve they still rock hard
So hard
‘Cause they believe in Christmas Eve
Rudolph was the drummer Santa clapped his hands
The elves sang loud while they played guitar it was a rockin’ Christmas band
Frosty was the bassman played so hot he melts his hands
Mrs. Claus on the tambourine they were Santa’s Rockin’ Band

I'm Mr. White Christmas
I'm Mr. Snow.
I'm Mr. Icicle
I'm Mr. 10 below
Friends call me Snow Miser
Whatever I touch
Turns to snow in my clutch!
I'm too much
He's Mr. White Christmas
He's Mr. Snow
He's Mr. Icicle
He's Mister Ten Below
Friends call me Snow Miser
Whatever I touch
Turns to snow in my clutch!
He’s too much
I never wanna know a day
That's over 40 degrees.
I'd rather have it 30, 25
And minus 3!
I'm Mr. Green Christmas
I'm Mr. Sun.
I'm Mr. Heat Blister
I'm Mr. Hundred and One
They call me Heat Miser
Whatever I touch
Starts to melt in my clutch.
I'm too much!
He's Mr. Green Christmas
He's Mr. Sun
He's Mr. Heat Blister
He's Mr. Hundred and One
They call me Heat Miser
Whatever I touch
Starts to melt in my clutch.
He's too much
I never wanna know a day
That's under 60 degrees.
I'd rather have it
80, 90, 100 degrees!

Frosty the Snowman
02:57
|
|||
Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale they say
He was made of snow, but the children know
How he came to life one day
There must have been some magic in
That old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around
Frosty the snowman knew the sun was hot that day
So he said let's run, and we'll have some fun
Now before I melt away
Down to the village with a broomstick in his hand
Running here and there all around the square
Saying catch me if you can
He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment
When he heard him holler, stop
Frosty the snowman had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye saying don't you cry
I'll be back again someday
Thumpity thump thump, thumpity thump thump
Look at Frosty go
Thumpity thump thump, thumpity thump thump
Over the hills of snow

C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S

When I was but a youngster Christmas meant one thing
That I'd be getting lots of toys that day
I learned a whole lot different when mother set me down
And taught me to spell Christmas this way
C is for the Christ Child born upon this day
H is for Herald Angels in the night
R means our redeemer I means Israel
S is for the star that shone so bright
T is for three wise men they who travelled far
M is for the manger where he lay
A's for all he stands for
S means shepherds came
And that's why there's a Christmas Day
Now that I am older Christmas means more things
I never forgot what my mother taught me that day
Now I have a youngster, gifts are all he sees
So I taught him how to spell Christmas this way
C is for the Christ Child born upon this day
H is for Herald Angels in the night
R means our redeemer I means Israel
S is for the star that shone so bright
T is for three wise men they who travelled far
M is for the manger where he lay
A's for all he stands for
S means shepherds came
And that’s why there’s a Christmas day

Snoopy's Christmas
02:43
|
|||
The news had come out in the First World War
The bloody Red Baron was flying once more
The Allied command ignored all of its men
And called on Snoopy to do it again.
Twas the night before Christmas, 40 below
When Snoopy went up in search of his foe
He spied the Red Baron and fiercely they fought
With ice on his wings Snoopy knew he was stopped.
Christmas bells those Christmas bells
Ring out from the land
Bringing peace to all the world
And good will to man
The Baron had Snoopy dead in his sights
He reached for the trigger to pull it up tight
Why he didn't shoot, well, we'll never know
Or was it the bells from the village below.
Christmas bells those Christmas bells
Ring out from the land
Bringing peace to all the world
And good will to man
The Baron made Snoopy fly to the Rhine
And forced him to land behind the enemy lines
Snoopy was certain that this was the end
When the Baron cried out, "Merry Christmas, mein friend!"
The Baron then offered a holiday toast
And Snoopy, our hero, saluted his host
And then with a roar they were both on their way
Each knowing they'd meet on some other day.
Christmas bells those Christmas bells
Ring out through the land
Bringing peace to all the world
And good will to man

I open the first day on my advent calendar
I feel the magic stirring in the air
It’s the time of year we laugh and sing with friends and family afar
Oh, how I believe in the Christmas star
Love is all around
Santa’s coming to town
Every year I hear the bell’s sweet sound
It’s Christmas time
It’s Christmas time
It’s Christmas time
All over the world
I never get too old to hang the lights up on the tree
And decorate the house for all to see
It’s a Wonderful Life, I watch it once again
And remember Christmases way back when
Love is all around
The Christmas train’s in town
I hear the whistle blowing oh so loud
It’s Christmas time
It’s Christmas time
It’s Christmas time
All over the world
It doesn’t matter who you are or where your heart comes from
Christmas is a time for everyone
The innocence of children we let it lead the way
Oh, how I wish we’d do that every day.
It’s Christmas time
It’s Christmas time
It’s Christmas time
All over the world

Peace and Harmony
03:41
|
|||
I can remember not long ago a tree with a golden star
It stood in the corner and lit the room, filled it with its Christmas charm
And I was only five, dreaming of Christmas time
That tree it never died, all year it lived in my mind
Christmas
Christmas
How I hope to see
Christmas
Peace and Harmony
Then one year my dad left home when I was only nine
And I cried for that Christmas when I was five, dreaming of a different time
My world was turned around, Christmas was so different now
More than just a tree, it was a hope for harmony
Christmas
Christmas
How I hope to see
Christmas
Peace and Harmony
The years have come and gone
And I feel like an old young man
I think to that Christmas when I was nine when my dad let go of my hand
But I don’t regret it now
Christmas is so different now
I see the hope, the love, the magic all around
Christmas
Christmas
How I hope to see
Christmas
Peace and Harmony
Christmas
How I love this time
Christmas
I live for Christmas time

Jingle Bells
02:37
|
|||
Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go,
Laughing all the way
Bells on bobtail ring,
making spirits bright
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight
Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh
Now the ground is white
Go it while you're young
Take the girls tonight
And sing this sleighing song
Just get a bobtailed bay
two-forty for his speed
Hitch him to an open sleigh
And crack! you'll take the lead
Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one-horse open sleigh

We Three Kings
02:39
|
|||
We three kings of orient are,
Bearing gifts we traverse afar
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder star.
Born a King on Bethlehem's plain,
Gold I bring to crown him again
King for ever, ceasing never
Over us all to reign.
Star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright.
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to the perfect light.
Frankincense to offer have I, incense owns a Deity nigh
Prayer and praising, all men raising,
Worship him, God most high,
Worship him, God most high,
Worship him, God most high.
We three kings of orient are,
Bearing gifts we traverse afar
Field and fountain, moor and mountain,
Following yonder star.
Star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright.
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to the perfect light.
Guide us to the perfect light
Guide us to the perfect light

You're a mean one Mr. Grinch
You really are a heel
You're as cuddly as a cactus
You're as charming as an eel
Mr. Grinch.
You're a bad banana with a greasy black peel
You're a monster, Mr. Grinch
Your heart's an empty hole
Your brain is full of spiders, you've got garlic in your soul, Mr. Grinch
I wouldn't touch you with a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole!
You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch
You're a nasty-wasty skunk
Your heart is full of unwashed socks, your soul is full of gunk, Mr. Grinch
You’re a mean one Mr. Grinch.
You're a vile one, Mr. Grinch
You have termites in your smile
You have all the tender sweetness of a seasick crocodile, Mr. Grinch
Given a choice between the two of you I'd take the seasick crocodile!
You're a rotter, Mr. Grinch
You're the king of sinful sots
Your heart's a dead tomato splotched with moldy purple spots
You’re a mean one Mr. Grinch
You’re a mean one Mr. Grinch
You’re a mean one Mr. Grinch
You’re a mean one Mr. Grinch
The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote
"Stink, stank, stunk!"

Hold on Santa
02:49
|
|||
It’s a cold winter night, December 24th not a single cloud in the sky
The North Pole’s buzzing the elves are jumping
They’ve packed the sleigh up high
The reindeer team is getting ready to fly
Around the world in world record time
Hold on Santa
Hold on Santa
Rudolph and they boys were clocked at a 110
Hold on Santa it’s Christmas Eve again
Santa stopped in Canada, Finland and China, England and Mozambique
He flies a million miles all around the world while everyone is asleep
Milk and cookies are eaten on the run
So little time and so much work to be done
Hold on Santa
Hold on Santa
Rudolph and the boys were clocked going at Mach 10
Hold on Santa it’s Christmas Eve again
Hold on Santa
Hold on Santa Claus
Hold on Santa it's Christmas Eve again.

Rich Chambers Vancouver, British Columbia
Rich Chambers' music is kind of retro, but not really. It has hints of country, but it isn't country. It is a little bit pop and also a little bit modern rock. In a nutshell, to describe his music in one phrase, it's Rock n' Roll Reimagined!!
